Bartosz specializes in real estate matters, company law and commercial contracts.

Bartosz is qualified in Poland as a legal advisor. He studied law at the University of Łódź in Poland and the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. He also completed post-graduate studies on urban planning and construction process at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).

He started his professional career with CMS Cameron McKenna in Warsaw in 2001. He moved to Magnusson in 2004. In 2017, he joined as a partner to Cieślak Klimkowski Radcowie Prawni to establish its Warsaw office and strengthen its real estate and corporate practice.

During his career, he has provided legal services to a number of domestic and international clients concerning real estate transactions, due diligence, zoning and construction matters, negotiation of construction contracts, leasing of commercial premises as well as various commercial contracts and corporate matters. His main achievements include:

  • assisting a tenant on lease of over 11,000 m2 of warehouse space in Rzgów from Metro Group in 2019;
  • advising a landlord on lease of over 15,000 m2 of office space in Business Garden Wrocław to a bank, the largest office lease concluded in Poland in the first half of 2017;
  • assisting a tenant on lease of over 25,000 m2 of warehouse space in 2016;
  • advising a seller on sale of Libra and Jasna office buildings in Warsaw in 2014;
  • assisting a seller on sale of Nova Praga office building in Warsaw in 2016;
  • advising a Chinese subcontractor on negotiation of the contract for construction of a new power plant unit in Jaworzno for the amount exceeding 5 billion PLN in 2013;
  • working on the merger notifications connected with significant real estate transactions (e.g. acquisition of Empark complex by an Austrian real estate company in 2015 or acquisition of BPH real estate portfolio by an investment fund in 2017).
